Haahahaa They are legal robber .They just rob you with extremely bad exchange rate + very very very high comission. You have no other choice to chance your money there. you need to use public transport to save the cost but to get the brazillian real as a new comer, you need to change your money. I just change 10 usd but after very bad exchance rate and high commision I only get 27 BRL which worth is exactly 7 usd in real market. Absolutely legal robber. I try to get money from ATM but all private ATM machines serve the all the bank and they try to get 10 usd fee for one transaction. unbelievable. I ended up losing 3 usd at banco safra. I guess government dont care it. let them to be monopol and rob the people legally. Welcome to brazil.
